Description
Join Us at TailorMed – Transforming Healthcare Affordability At TailorMed, we’re on a mission to eliminate barriers across the entire medication journey—from affordability to access and adherence. As a pioneering force in healthcare, we’re building a new category that transforms how patients, providers, pharmacies, life sciences, and payers collaborate to ensure every patient receives the treatment they need without delay. Our enterprise solution streamlines the full lifecycle of patient support programs, reducing the cost of care and driving better outcomes. With the nation's largest Affordability Network—deployed across 800+ hospitals, 1,300 clinics, and 650 pharmacies—we’re reshaping healthcare with innovative automation and industry-leading partnerships. TailorMed is seeking a highly technical Senior Data Product Manager to lead the evolution of our data platform, ingestion pipelines, data models, analytics products, and AI-enablement capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes data—someone equally comfortable discussing columnar storage vs. row-based stores, debugging a data contract issue, defining a semantic model, or shaping a product strategy. You will own the roadmap and execution of our data layers, ensuring that data flowing across our system is accurate, consistent, valuable, and accessible. You will partner closely with engineering, implementation, support, and analytics teams to create a high-scale, high-quality data foundation that powers our products, customer workflows, insights, and AI experience. Think of this role as the technical backbone behind TailorMed’s data ecosystem - linking business needs with engineering reality and ensuring that every byte we ingest turns into value. Responsibilities Data Product Strategy & Ownership Own and prioritize the data platform and data products roadmap, balancing urgent customer-driven needs with long-term scalability and technical evolution. Translate complex data challenges (ingestion, normalization, modeling, lineage, quality, observability) into clear product requirements. Drive alignment across engineering, analytics, implementation, and product teams to ensure coherent data strategy. Deep Technical Partnership Define and enforce data contracts, schema evolution practices, data quality thresholds, and logic validation. Troubleshoot data issues at the source—understanding logs, APIs, schemas, payloads, mapping logic, and edge cases. Platform Accuracy, Logic & Governance Ensure correctness across data logic, rules engines, and algorithmic components that power the TailorMed platform. Establish best practices for data observability, monitoring, error handling, and operational excellence. Partner with support and implementation teams to diagnose data issues, identify root causes, and strengthen data resilience. Analytics Enablement Collaborate with analytics teams to design semantic layers, metrics definitions, and reusable data assets. Define requirements for insights, dashboards, reports, and chat-based data experiences. Cross-Functional Impact Understand customer data requirements across providers, vendors, and partners Lead discovery to map customer data flows → ingestion → transformation → product value. Requirements 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager of data-heavy or deeply technical products. Strong understanding of: Data pipelines & ingestion architectures APIs, webhooks, flat-file ingestion, FHIR/HL7 (advantage) Data quality frameworks and observability tools Demonstrated experience working with data engineering, analytics, and AI teams. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to dive into raw data, logs, payloads, and edge conditions. Excellent communication skills—able to translate low-level technical detail into clear product decisions. Experience with US healthcare data or health informatics—advantage. Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Data, or a related technical field; advanced degree a plus. What We Offer null
