SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER – DIGITAL PLATFORM ACCESSIBILITY (WCAG 2.2 STANDARDS):

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Product Manager – Digital Platform Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 standards) for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER – DIGITAL PLATFORM ACCESSIBILITY (WCAG 2.2 STANDARDS) - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This project focuses on the design system, front-end Angular component, modular library, and bank digital platforms to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AAA standards. The Senior Product Manager will own and evolve the accessibility roadmap for the bank’s Global Asset Management digital platforms, prioritizing accessibility features and strategic investments.

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER – DIGITAL PLATFORM ACCESSIBILITY (WCAG 2.2 STANDARDS) - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Certification in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, IAAP, or Trusted Tester)
  • 5–8 years of product management experience in enterprise-level web platforms
  • Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.2 standards and AODA requirements
  • Familiarity with Assistive Technologies and testing tools
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER – DIGITAL PLATFORM ACCESSIBILITY (WCAG 2.2 STANDARDS) – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of investment management or financial portals
  • Proven track record of driving accessibility initiatives
  • Understanding of Canadian federal/provincial accessibility requirements
  • Experience in user-centered design
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve the accessibility roadmap for digital platforms
  • Act as an accessibility SME across the product portfolio
  • Collaborate with development teams to meet accessibility standards
  • Lead or support accessibility audits and coordinate remediation plans
  • Embed accessibility as a core product principle
  • Define and track KPIs related to accessibility compliance
