Position Purpose: To create a new and sustainable source of value for StoneX by owning and evolving eCommerce as a group product capability. The role is responsible for shaping and delivering an eCommerce strategy, and initially focuses on the continued development, optimisation and scaling of an existing MVP across markets, before establishing new eCommerce capabilities where none exist, and unlocking greater value from a mature but siloed eCommerce offerings through integration and cross‑sell. Operating within a headless, composable architecture, the role bridges business objectives, customer needs, and platform capabilities, remaining hands‑on in discovery, product increment definition, backlog management, and delivery to achieve measurable commercial and customer outcomes. Responsibilities Primary duties will include: Strategy, Vision, and Alignment Define and drive the eCommerce product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business goals. Scale and optimise the existing MVP across markets, identifying new capabilities and integrations. Partner with the Head of Product on platform strategy and future evolution. Maintain senior stakeholder alignment on priorities, investment, and outcomes. Support business cases for eCommerce features and increments. Business, Customer, and Domain Understanding Develop strong understanding of business objectives, product lifecycles, and commercial priorities. Understand B2B and B2C customer behaviours, decision journeys, and channel preferences. Ensure customer journeys optimise conversion, retention, and lifetime value. Align eCommerce capabilities with payments, order management, fulfilment, and CRM processes. Product Discovery and Definition Lead discovery to validate customer needs, pain points, and value hypotheses. Define eCommerce features that meet customer, business, and operational needs. Identify and govern non‑functional, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Identify and apply AI opportunities to improve efficiency, insight, and customer value. Backlog Management and Agile Delivery Own and prioritise the eCommerce backlog based on value, risk, and strategy. Define product increments with clear outcomes and success measures. Break work into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Lead backlog refinement and participate in Agile ceremonies. Align delivery scope with stakeholders, roadmaps, and team capacity. Cross‑Functional Collaboration and Delivery Execution Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, and QA to deliver high‑quality solutions. Partner with DevOps, Release, and Project teams to ensure timely, low‑risk launches. Collaborate with UX, UI, Content, SEO, and Marketing to create effective customer journeys. Support Website Operations with scalable, BAU‑friendly solutions. Partner with Data & Analytics to enable performance tracking and optimisation. Performance Measurement and Optimisation Define success metrics for product increments (e.g. conversion, revenue, efficiency). Monitor performance and communicate outcomes and insights. Drive continuous optimisation through iteration, experimentation, and journey improvements. Support A/B and multivariate testing with clear hypotheses and measures. Governance, Documentation, and Enablement Ensure alignment with architecture principles and governance standards. Maintain product documentation, guidelines, and specifications. Support scalable eCommerce processes across markets and categories. Enable training and knowledge sharing as capabilities grow. Regulatory Requirements Maintain a high level of conduct, ethical standards and values. Adhere to and proactively enhance the firm’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations and codes of conduct in all jurisdictions in which the firm conducts business and which have an impact on its business. Work to identify risks and enhance control across the business. Ensuring all project files are updated at all times on the network drive. Qualifications To land this role you will need: Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager owning a digital product or capability end‑to‑end, with accountability for strategy, delivery, and measurable outcomes. Hands‑on experience building, scaling, or establishing an eCommerce capability (0–1), including MVP development and expansion across markets or customer segments. Practical experience working in Agile development teams with direct ownership of backlogs, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery sequencing. Ways of working Comfortable operating hands‑on, from discovery through delivery, working closely with engineering, UX, data, and operations teams. Confident prioritising work based on value, risk, and strategic impact, and making trade‑offs visible to stakeholders. Experienced in leading discovery to validate customer problems and define product increments with clear success metrics. Strong communicator, able to align senior stakeholders and influence without direct authority. Commercially minded, with a strong focus on outcomes rather than outputs. Collaborative, proactively engaging relevant specialists to inform decisions and empowering them to lead execution within their expertise. What makes you stand out: Experience with headless or composable commerce architectures and modern platforms (e.g. Shopify, Kontent.ai, Uniform.dev or similar). Solid understanding of customer journeys, experimentation, conversion optimisation, SEO, and analytics. Experience working with digital specialists such as data, optimisation, SEO, US/UI design, Content Creators Exposure to, or strong interest in, applying AI‑enabled capabilities within eCommerce products. Strong background working in large, complex, and regulated organisations, operating within governance, risk, security, and compliance constraints.
