Description

THE POSITION

At Hive, we’re building the leading operations platform for independent commerce. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a (Senior) Product Manager to join us. This role is key in further realizing our vision over the years to come.
You’ll be leading a cross-functional product development team end-to-end, owning the roadmap and execution for your area. Your work will impact hundreds of commerce brands and millions of end customers. This includes our merchant-facing product ("Hive App"), our end customer offering ("Customer Portal” and “Delivery Promise"), and our Warehouse Management Software.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of your roadmap. Co-create and own the roadmap for your domain. Develop and plan functionality that aligns customer needs with our objectives, and translate them into actionable plans, representing our customers’ problems throughout.
  • Lead product discovery initiatives. Uncover what we should be building next, and why, by conducting product discovery through user research, data analysis, and feedback from stakeholders. Gather customer and internal feedback to shape functionality and future focus topics.
  • Define and measure success. Define success metrics (e.g., solve the identified problem or improve a specific performance metric) during discovery and planning, and ensure we’re working in that direction. Use the learnings to derive conclusions informing future product development and iterations.
  • Drive product execution. Own the product development flow end-to-end for your domain, from concept to rollout to our customers or fulfillment centers. Ensure roadmap execution at high-quality that meets customer and business needs.
  • Use data to drive the experience. Analyze product usage and other sources of data to effectively drive prioritization. Uncover potentially unmet needs and opportunities, and inform how to improve the product suite overall.
  • Facilitate collaboration across the organization. Your (and your products’) success ultimately depends on working effectively with your cross-functional collaborators in product design and engineering, but also with teams and leaders across the wider organization. Set up and drive alignment across business functions in service of the product and business.

Domain-specific:

  • Own the Delivery & B2B roadmap. Define and drive the vision for our Delivery & B2B fulfillment products — including B2B order processing, carrier integrations, freight booking, and cross-warehouse inventory transfers.
  • Turn B2B fulfillment complexity into scalable workflows. Build features that identify and apply retailer-specific requirements (e.g., palletization rules, carton labeling), automate the freight booking process and level up cross-warehouse inventory transfers – in a way that our customers can rely on us to run their operations on autopilot.
  • Lead integrations with carriers and freight partners. Own the product side of our shipping stack — from label generation and tracking to multi-leg freight flows and exception handling.
