    Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
    In this Senior Product Manager role, you’ll be part of the team responsible for ensuring Westpac’s commitment to making a difference, you will ensure the Home Lending product suite is competitive in market and achieves customer and commercial outcomes. You will also be responsible for the achievement of the Home Lending product portfolio objectives and key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing product and service life cycle, rationalise and simplify products, ensuring product risk governance, ongoing regulatory compliance, and monitoring portfolio performance.
  • Design and develop new/modified product, service or offerings based on underlying customer and market research. This includes defining the product features, design and test prototypes, establish customer value proposition, channel mix, collateral and training materials.
  • Monitor and manage product performance across customer, segment, market, industry and financial outcomes, ensuring the product remains fair and suitable for the customer and achieves revenue, cost and regulatory compliance outcomes.

  • Proven experience in a product management role.
  • Significant experience within the finance or banking industry.
  • Strong understanding of housing policies, regulations, and funding mechanisms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional project management abilities, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to guide individuals to a fast and effective outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
