Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Intrado is looking to add a Senior Product Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading Intrado’s cloud native Call Handling product suite and delivering exciting next generation solutions to the market. Intrado is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud offerings and ensuring our solutions continue to meet the evolving needs of the Public Safety market and our customers.
The person in this role will manage multiple products, working with business and development teams to deliver and grow state-of-the-art cloud-based services and solutions that help save people’s lives. Work Worth Doing as we say at Intrado. You will be responsible for defining and leading the development of these solutions ensuring they meet industry and customer expectations. You will take a hands-on role working with agile teams, business stakeholders and counterparts to support new, go-to-market initiatives as well as assessing the lifecycle of all solutions under your responsibility.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Sciences or Data Sciences/ Analytics Business Administration, Marketing, MIS, or a related field is required, however equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Experience with Public Cloud vendor(s), Cloud Service Provider(s), technology/software firm, systems integrator.
  • Good understanding and/or previous experience in bringing Cloud, AI/GenAI and SaaS-based solutions market
  • Great to Have. Public Safety experience is a definite plus SaaS Application and Workload Security and SASE domain.

EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • 5+ years Cloud-based and/or SaaS products analytics and business intelligence experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience delivering and launching new cloud-base products is strongly preferred.
  • Solid Networking knowledge
  • Understanding of Comfortable with Hybrid Cloud Architecture and Edge Computing
  • Previous experience in actively managing hardware-based platforms.
  • Strong go to market skills and knowledge of the Public Cloud market, segmentation, offers, packaging, and strategies
  • Solid understanding of Pragmatic Marketing and/or similar certifications
  • Ambitious thought leader that will continue to advance the cloud solutions as an integral part of the Intrado Public Safety Solutions portfolio.
  • Experience wit user experience definition with strong focus on customers, users, and their needs.
  • Solid technical skills and comfortable in front of internal solutions architects, customers, and partners
  • Can demonstrate ability of collaborating closely with agile teams, Engineering Customer Success, and Operations
  • Able to breakdown complex problems into simple solutions
  • Autonomous, business oriented and resourceful self-starter
  • Financial acumen, understanding of basic financial and accounting principles.
  • Great team-player
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic technologists, ready to evangelize within and outside of Intrado.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Problem-solving skills are crucial.
  • Understanding of machine learning, GenAI, artificial intelligence, and other concepts would be an asset.
  • Good command of Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft PowerBI would be another asset.

    The full annual compensation range for this position is anticipated between $140,000 – 160,000 CAD and will be commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

  • Build a firm understanding of the market and customer needs and how to fulfill these successfully.
  • Define solutions, drive the development process, and support review meetings.
  • Leverage internal and external stakeholders to gain insights and find solutions for problems affecting or customers and also ensuring product delivery.
  • Identify new markets, market opportunities, and consider adjacent sectors to grow the product suite further
  • Lead use case definitions and support agile team(s) as they break down requirements.
  • Prioritize work with data and perspective from business and customers to help prioritize the work and resolve conflicts to help achieve product delivery plans.
  • Develop and present business cases to executives and gain their buy-in for product growth investments.
  • Support all P&L related line items for the cloud-based solutions.
  • Maintain and share market, customer and competitive trends and share analyses with internal stakeholders.
  • Continually evaluate product offerings for improvements in process and solutioning for customer needs
  • Partner with Marketing teams on new and current content, marketing campaigns and more as needed.
  • Create and deliver product and solution presentations to customers and internal teams.
  • Contribute new ideas for products that support Intrado solutions.
  • Communicate status on in-development and in-market solutions.
  • Present and gather research from customer engagements.
  • Develop and monitor pricing for solutions and track costs.
  • Other product management related duties as assigned.
