“This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening. Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our IT Infrastructure Capacity initiatives. In this role, you will drive the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for infrastructure capacity planning, ensuring optimal resource allocation, scalability, and cost efficiency across our cloud and on-premises environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for IT infrastructure capacity management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure capacity aligns with business needs and growth projections.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to automation availability and performance.
  • Drive the development and implementation of automation frameworks that deploy infrastructure capacity, including racks, storage, network devices, servers, and virtual machines.
  • Evaluate and implement third-party tools and technologies to enhance infrastructure capacity management.
  • Drive cost transparency and efficiency initiatives in cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and business continuity requirements.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to senior leadership, influencing decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Lead Agile development processes, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, writing user stories for development teams, conducting product reviews, and facilitating UAT sessions.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with stakeholders to align on progress, challenges, and future planning.
    Qualifications

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong background in IT infrastructure, cloud, or related domains.
  • Expertise in capacity planning, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data center management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in forecasting, cost management, and performance optimization.
  • Experience working with engineering teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of Capacity Ops and cloud cost management principles.
  • Proven experience in building automation solutions for deploying IT infrastructure capacity, including physical and virtual assets.
  • Understanding and experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, and VMware for managing and scaling infrastructure environments.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing workflows and automations on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
