About the role 

As our Wealth business continues to grow, we are investing in the people, products and partnerships needed to support the next stage of that growth. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to take a leading role in shaping and growing our Wealth offering. 

Working closely with the GM Wealth and senior stakeholders across investment, consulting, business development and operations, you will have exposure across managed accounts, investment trusts, platform partnerships and new product initiatives, with the opportunity to influence strategy and execution across the business. This role is located in our Melbourne or Sydney office and reports to the GM Wealth. 

You will become the central point of coordination for JANA’s Wealth product capability, ensuring products remain competitive, well positioned and supported across distribution channels. Some of your responsibilities will include: 

• Managing key platform relationships and supporting product onboarding, APL inclusions and ongoing platform engagement 
• Developing and maintaining product collateral, marketing materials and supporting documentation across all Wealth capabilities 
• Maintaining a forward-looking product roadmap, informed by client, distribution, competitor and regulatory inputs 
• Managing new product launches from concept through to go-to-market, coordinating investment, consulting, risk and BD input 
• Leading responses to RFPs, DDQs and platform due diligence requests. 
• Monitoring competitor positioning, platform availability, fees and market trends, translating findings into positioning, pricing or capability recommendations 
• Supporting the Wealth product governance, reporting and continuous improvement across the Wealth business. 

About you 

You are likely to have built your career in product, distribution, platform management or a related role within financial services. You may currently be working at an asset manager, investment platform, research house, asset consultant or advice group and are looking for an opportunity with broader scope and greater influence. We are particularly interested in people who bring: 

• A tertiary qualification in commerce, business, finance, economics or a related discipline 
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a product or distribution role in financial services, gained at a fund manager, investment platform, research house or asset consultant 
• Experience managing platform relationships and product onboarding, from either the platform or manager side 
• Experience coordinating RFP and DDQ responses 
• Strong working knowledge of managed funds, managed accounts and the major wrap and investment platforms 
• Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to produce client-quality materials independently 
• A commercial mindset and the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
