As a Senior Product Manager you will be involved in, among other things:

• Developing new products and further development of existing products;
• The substantive design of products, including coverage, conditions and product structure;
• Carrying out product analyzes and assessing risks, market developments and customer needs;
• Ensuring the Product Oversight & Governance framework (POG) and the associated PARP processes;
• Monitoring that products comply with relevant legislation, regulations and internal frameworks;
• Initiating and implementing product changes and improvements;
• Performing competitive analyzes at the product level, including coverage, terms and pricing;
• Providing substantive input for pricing, returns and acceptance policy;
• Translating internal and external signals into concrete product adjustments and innovations;
• Advising management and directors on product developments, risks and strategic choices.

Developments in the field of digitalization, AI, data, legislation and regulations and competition require products that remain relevant, distinctive and future-proof.

As a Senior Product Manager, you and fellow product managers are the substantive owners of several products and product lines. You are versatile and can switch between issues of individual healthcare professionals and healthcare companies. You monitor the quality, relevance and return of the portfolio and translate market developments, customer insights, competitive analyzes and strategic ambitions into future-proof solutions.

You will join our client's Product Management team, which currently consists of four colleagues. The team is responsible for the development, management and optimization of the products. You work intensively with colleagues from Acceptance, Damage, Actuarial Services, Data, Legal Affairs, Commerce and Marketing. You work closely with Compliance on compliance issues.

You are concerned with everything that is part of the product, from coverage, conditions and product structure to pricing and product development. You ensure that products match the digitalization ambitions of our client and the changing needs of private healthcare professionals and the healthcare market.

Job requirements

For this position:

• You have a HBO/WO working and thinking level;
• You have extensive experience as a product manager within insurance or a similar environment;
• You have experience with product development, portfolio management and stakeholder management;
• You have strong analytical skills and are able to reduce complex issues into clear choices and solutions;
• You are organizationally sensitive, connecting and convincing in your communication;
• You are able to combine strategic insight with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach;
• You are well informed of market developments, customer needs and technological opportunities and know how to translate these into concrete product initiatives;
• You are used to ownership, can prioritize well and know how to focus on a broad portfolio with diverse interests.
