Description
Lead end-to-end product development for event scheduling and management features, from ideation to launch, ensuring high-quality delivery and user satisfaction. Champion the development of mobile and web experiences for Teams Events, enabling organizers and attendees to manage and participate in events on-the-go, and ensuring parity with desktop capabilities. Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholder management, coordinating with engineering, design, partner teams, and external collaborators to clarify requirements, resolve dependencies, and drive consensus on priorities. Facilitate communication and alignment among multiple teams, including managing feedback loops, addressing stakeholder concerns, and ensuring timely updates on project milestones and integration timelines. Use data-driven insights, customer feedback, and telemetry to prioritize features and continuously improve the Teams Events experience. Collaborate with design and research to deliver intuitive, accessible, and delightful event experiences for Teams users across all platforms. Represent the Teams Events product in executive reviews, roadmap planning, and cross-org initiatives. Support the rollout of new features, manage change communications, and help mitigate risks related to user adoption and event scalability (e.g., supporting large attendee counts). Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.6+ years of product management experience, preferably in large-scale consumer or enterprise software. Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, especially in matrixed or global organizations. Solid analytical skills, including experience with experimentation, A/B testing, and telemetry analysis. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholder groups. Deep customer empathy and a passion for solving real-world problems. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience. 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework). 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn). 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product). Experience in event management, scheduling, or collaboration tools (Teams, Outlook, Zoom, etc.). Familiarity with mobile-first and web-first product development. Prior experience supporting product launches and managing stakeholder communications in a fast-paced environment.
