We assist state courts and licensing authorities with fulfilling their responsibility to determine minimal competence for entry to the legal profession. As we lead the transition to the NextGen bar exam, we are also reinventing how candidates and institutions prepare for licensure—developing innovative, research-backed study resources aligned with the future of legal education.
NCBE is committed to fostering a welcoming environment that values respect and collaboration. The organization provides competitive salaries and benefits, flexible schedules, remote work options, and professional development opportunities. NCBE’s headquarters is based in Madison, Wisconsin, a dynamic community with exceptional amenities.
QUALIFICATIONS
ABOUT THE ROLE
The organization is seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager of Study Aids to lead the design, development, and evolution of NCBE’s official study aid ecosystem for the NextGen bar exam. This is a high-impact product leadership role with end-to-end ownership of our B2C and B2B study tools—ranging from interactive practice sets and novel question types to licensing models for law schools and bar preparation providers.
This position will be responsible for creating and growing compelling preparation products that serve diverse user needs—from first-time test takers to educators and institutional partners. Working closely with content experts, designers, psychometricians, platform vendors, and executive stakeholders, you will bring new study tools to life and evolve existing offerings based on real user feedback, market data, and NCBE’s mission.
This is a builder’s role—ideal for a product leader who thrives in zero-to-one environments, embraces complexity, and wants to help shape the future of the legal profession.
