See yourself in the team Business Banking (BB) Payments drives CBA’s payment strategy for Retail, Business Banking and Institutional customers, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences and achieving an NPS of +30. You’ll join the Domestic Payments Crew, reporting to the Chapter Lead for the Value Add stream, and play a pivotal role in shaping innovative payment solutions. Do work that matters As Senior Product Manager – Payee Validation, you’ll own the end-to-end development and management of our payee validation services (Confirmation of Payee and NameCheck). This includes designing products, managing systems and processes, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll ensure compliance with regulatory and scheme obligations, lead commercialisation efforts, and represent CBA with industry bodies. Drive the CBA Payee Validation roadmap, focusing on commercialisation and market adoption. Engage with scheme bodies to influence Australia’s payments strategy. Design features and enhancements that meet market needs while ensuring compliance. Monitor product performance, risks, and competitor offerings, and implement controls. Deliver strategic projects that meet genuine customer needs and mitigate risks. We are looking for people who have Proven experience: 5+ years in payments, banking, and product management. Strong track record in developing and executing product roadmaps. Experience engaging with industry and scheme bodies. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive risk mindset and ability to lead without direct authority. Comfort with interpreting complex legal and regulatory documents and applying them practically. Problem-solving capability and comfort with technical complexity. Deep knowledge of payment products, policies, systems, and the broader payments industry. Why Join Us?
