Description
Plays a leadership role and drives the progress of the product management function. Leads cross-functional teams through agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Monitors competitive market to determine client needs for certain product improvements and completes detailed competitive analyses. Uses strong business acumen to assess new features / product requirements viability. Strategically partners with key senior stakeholders to understand needs and priorities. Recommends product requirements and definitions to align with stakeholder's needs. Collaborates with the software engineering team on feature ideas and prototypes to bring potential solutions to life. Advises key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle. Tracks and reports key metrics to drive future product developments. Collaborates with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product launch plans, and marketing collateral. Demonstrates process improvement and project management experience, preferably with the implementation of large projects. Four-year College Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or any other related discipline (Graduate-level degree preferred). Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in product management, digital or software product development, or a related field. Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner Certification, or any other related certifications. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
