We are seeking a driven Product Manager - Robotics to define and steer the future of our robotic solutions across multiple clinical disciplines. In this role, you will navigate the intersection of hardware, software, and clinical applications. You will act as the central hub between R&D, Sales, and Clinical stakeholders, ensuring we deliver a robotic platform that solves real-world surgical challenges while meeting business goals. You will be responsible for the product’s entire journey—from resolving complex, conflicting requirements to defining the commercial strategy and executing the market launch. Key responsibilities: Cross-Disciplinary Roadmap Definition: Define and drive a comprehensive robotics roadmap that serves various clinical disciplines, ensuring long-term strategic alignment. Requirement Synthesis & Prioritization: Act as the filter and architect for product requirements; condense and prioritize cross-indication needs, resolving potential conflicts between different clinical user groups to create a unified product vision. Commercial Structure & Pricing: Define and maintain the article structure and pricing strategy, ensuring the product offers a competitive and profitable business model. Service & Training Ecosystem: Develop robust service and training concepts to ensure seamless adoption and operational reliability for our customers. Holistic Lifecycle Management: Manage the product across its entire lifecycle (in close collaboration with Product Lifecycle Management), from introduction to end-of-life, ensuring sustained profitability and relevance. Market Intelligence: Conduct deep market and competitor analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities within the surgical robotics landscape. Sales Enablement & Product Advocacy: Act as the product champion at trade shows, customer demos, and sales trainings, equipping the sales force with the knowledge and tools they need to win. Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute the marketing strategy for the robotics portfolio, ensuring strong market positioning and successful product launches. Qualifications Technical Background: University degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field; a combination with business education is a plus. Relevant Experience: Minimum of 4 years in Product Management for complex Hardware & Software products in Medical Technology OR Proven Product Management experience in Robotics (non-MedTech industries) Clinical Knowledge: Experience in Spine or Neurosurgery is considered a strong advantage. Launch Expertise: Proven track record of successfully launching complex, high-tech products into the market. Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to abstract complex technical and clinical problems and translate them into requirements in a structured, analytical way. Communication Skills: Business fluent in English (negotiation level); German language skills are an advantage. Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance immediate project needs with long-term strategic goals. Based in Munich, with willingness for up to 20% travel.
