POSITION OVERVIEW:

Inseego is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Software. The Senior Product Manager creates high value software features and drives them from ideation through to deployment. The role is focused on supporting the creation and delivery of our next generation Router Operating System and Cloud Management platform. The role requires a can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and a passion for delivering high quality customer experiences. The role includes all aspects of the software product lifecycle from concepts through requirements, execution, launch, maintenance and ultimately end of life for this software.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar discipline and proven track record in building mission critical or business critical wireless software solutions with at least 3 years experience in Product Management.
  • Previous work experience with defining complex software features (embedded software or cloud services) is essential. Strong foundation in cellular technology and wireless networking preferred.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into user stories and product requirements; track record of managing and producing deliverables that include product and marketing requirements and product briefs.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, presentation, and verbal) including with customers and partners in-person.
  • Travel as required by the business, to visit customers, carriers or Inseego offices, anticipated 10-15%.
    Salary Range: $150,000–$165,000

  • Crafting and clearly articulating software features as a solution, creating value for both Inseego and our Customers.
  • Create, define, and execute software features in our roadmap for our next generation cellular routers, as part of an integrated solution, delivering cutting-edge networking features that delight customers by being easy to deploy, manage and secure.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer and market needs and provide technical expertise, training, and use case knowledge to the wider product management team.
  • Bring a data driven solution focus and drive collaboration within the product management and engineering team to ensure an optimum end-to-end customer experience.
  • Create product requirements to be used by cross-functional teams in all phases of new product development and prioritize into a clear roadmap of releases.
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, business case, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
