Description
We’re building the future of connected construction - and now we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who can turn ideas into impact. At Trackunit, we’re a fast-growing SaaS company connecting machines, people, and systems across the global construction industry. Our purpose is simple yet ambitious: together, we eliminate downtime to build the most useful industry for the world. We’re looking for an experienced product colleague to spearhead a new product area in construction rental technology - taking it from early concept to successful launch. You’ll work closely with customers and collaborate across Engineering, Design, and Commercial to deliver measurable impact and real customer value. You bring strong product intuition, a passion for innovation, and the ability to see opportunity where others see complexity. If you’ve built products from the ground up and know what “great” looks like from idea to market, this is your chance to shape the future of an entire industry. With locations in the hearts of London, ON and Kitchener, ON we offer you a flexible setup with the possibility to work from one of our locations or remotely from anywhere in Ontario. No relocation assistance is offered for this position. Before we go any further, here’s Jon, a potential new teammate. And really — what’s better than hearing directly from someone already working in Product Management at Trackunit? What's in it for you? A place in a fastgrowing agile SaaS business – so fasten your seat belt. Back in 2020 we were 150 employees at Trackunit and we have just passed 450 employees. International environment with regular check-ins and social events across teams, departments and borders. We take your personal and professional development goals seriously and we support them through training, coaching and mindfulness as well as with an open feedback culture to enable you to identify your strengths and opportunities. We do this by touching upon your impact on our triple focus: impacting yourself, impacting teams/relations and impacting the organisation/strategy. Flexibility and hybrid working is not just a cliché to us or something we state in a job posting. We do offer you a flexible setup and believe that you best can structure how your routines look like. And once you have chosen how you work best, let us know what you need: we got you covered with the IT equipment you need for your work. Turning the Tide. At Trackunit, we aim to create and contribute to an inclusive workplace. And this priority starts with our hiring - we do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity, sexual orientation, personal expression, ethnicity, religious belief, or disability status. We only assess candidates on their qualifications and merit. Learn more about TIDE and other DE&I initiatives here. Who are you ideally? You have a proven track record as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment. You have taken products from idea to product-market fit — shaping them through discovery, experimentation, launch and go-to-market. You have experience of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery. You are skilled in engaging with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship. You bring commercial awareness and know how to define and measure progress with data and feedback loops. You enjoy working directly with customers — understanding their needs, testing ideas with them, and turning insights into meaningful product decisions. Don't meet every single requirement? No worries - this is what we're looking for ideally, but if you're super excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply. What you will do Build products from concept to launch: Partner with Engineering, Design, Commercial and customers to create a product from the ground up — guiding it through the full lifecycle from early concept to product-market fit using best-in-class product practices to deliver high-quality outcomes. Lead go-to-market efforts: Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure launches are aligned, well-orchestrated, and supported by clear enablement. Manage end-to-end product execution: Own the build process from backlog refinement to release, working closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality outcomes. Create clarity across functions: Align teams on scope, trade-offs, and timelines, especially where regional context, dependencies, or ambiguity exist. Build effective async collaboration: Communicate clearly across time zones and stakeholders, using structured, proactive updates to keep momentum. Our hiring process Don't waste your time on writing the best possible cover letter for the job. We want you to create an impact that matters, and that's not in the cover letter. Virtual meet and greet. Meet Malin Lindbom, Director of Product Management and the hiring manager for this role. Personality-based interview. You will be asked to fill out an online personality assessment using use Hogan prior to the interview. Our Hogan assessment enables us to understand your abilities and how you align with our team culture. Instead of seeking 'appropriate' responses, the priority is to develop a meaningful exchange that illustrates your synergy with the Trackunit team. Assignment-specific interview. We want you to get an insight into some of the concrete work tasks or projects related to the role. You will be given a case to prepare prior to the interview, and at the interview, you will present the case to relevant colleagues from across Trackunit, who you’ll also work closely with in the job. If needed, throughout the process we will obtain references from former employers and do background checks for level specific, if you have not provided these yourself. Offer presentation and walk-through. We’re lucky to have you! Coming Together To Connect Construction We’re committed to construction - one of the largest industries in the world. Over the past two decades, Trackunit has been pioneering technological progress within construction. Today, we are not only a leading IoT provider but a thought leader, supporting and shaping the agenda for an entire industry on a global scale. We believe in taking a people approach in everything we do. Being human-centric is not restricted to our products – it’s a way of life at Trackunit. We’re proud to be a truly global team. Our colleagues get together in hubs spread across the globe, but we embrace the idea of working remotely and in environments that inspire you. Everything we do, we do it to eliminate downtime and build the most useful industry for the world. The question is: Are you in? Trackunit is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, colour, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. Trackunit also prioritizes providing reasonable accommodations for qualified people with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please let our People & Talents team know.
