We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager (f/m/x) for the development and optimization of our core tools for trip and itinerary building. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in defining and translating our trip planning processes into our internal tooling landscape, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring that our tools remain aligned with our scaling business needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and drive efficient and effective business processes.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead an engineering team in your role as Product Manager, working in conjunction with a Tech Lead and Designer. Provide guidance, and support to ensure the team’s success in delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Product ownership: Own one of our core internal tools for trip and itinerary building, which is used by our Sales & Travel Experts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define strategic roadmaps, and execute on product enhancements. Ensure the scalability of these tools, as the business expands and the internal user base is growing.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Lead the development & execution of a long-term product strategy for the future trip planning experience which aligns with the company strategy.
  • Business Process Translation: Translate complex sales & trip planning processes into efficient and effective solutions within our trip planning tools and ensure a consistent E2E customers & agent experience. Challenge existing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive operational excellence. Include AI tools into your solution space whenever possible and suitable.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proactively shape the relationship to main stakeholders and establish regular update & communication cycles. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their workflow requirements, pain points, and opportunities. Conduct regular shadowing sessions and translate your insights into detailed product requirements and user stories.
  • Stakeholder Training: Provide comprehensive product documentation and define go to market strategies for feature roll-outs. Provide easy access for stakeholders, internal users, and fellow product managers to the documentation of the complexity of our internal tools, promoting a deep understanding of its capabilities and fostering its optimal utilization.
