Job Description About the Role We are seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the end‑to‑end strategy, delivery, and scale of an in‑house Centralized Payment Testing Platform. You will define the product vision, partner with Platform/Payments Engineering to build core capabilities from the ground up, sunset fragmented internal tools, and launch a secure, scalable, white‑labelled testing experience for internal stakeholders and enterprise clients. You will collaborate with Product, Operations, SMEs, Engineering, SRE, Security, Data, Sales, and Client Success to deliver a seamless developer and client experience across payment authorization, clearing, settlement, and dispute flows. Key Responsibilities Product strategy and vision Define the long‑term vision, strategy, and roadmap for an internally built testing platform aligned to company objectives and payment domain needs. Own build scope, MVP definition, and iterative releases with clear success criteria. Requirements and experience design Engage internal users and external client stakeholders to capture pain points and desired capabilities; translate insights into actionable PRDs, user stories, and discovery artifacts. Define personas and end‑to‑end journeys (developer, QA, payment ops, client engineer). Platform architecture partnership Partner with Platform/Payments Engineering to shape platform architecture, APIs and SDKs, data models, and environment strategy (multi‑tenant, staging, sandbox, simulators). Prioritize foundational capabilities: protocol simulators (ISO 8583/ISO 20022), EMV, tokenization, digital wallets, 3‑DS, network issuer acquirer emulation, data replay, and automation. Migration and deprecation Lead the transition from legacy in‑house tools to the new platform; define parity thresholds, dual‑run pilots, data integrity checks, and a staged deprecation plan. Deliver self‑serve migration tooling, training, and change communications. White‑label enablement Define branding, theming, tenant isolation, usage metering, audit trails, and customization to support client‑facing, white‑label deployments. Delivery leadership Run a disciplined backlog, quarterly planning, and a hybrid delivery model (Agile with milestone gates) across multiple squads, manage dependencies with Infra, Security, and Data. Establish operating cadences, decision logs, and RACI across product/engineering/design. Observability, quality, and operations Specify telemetry, analytics, and BI for usage, performance, and test outcomes. Collaborate with Product Operation team on maintaining & support SLOs/SLIs, capacity plans, incident response expectations, and runbooks with SRE. Compliance, privacy, and security by design Embed PCI DSS requirements, organizational controls, encryption, key management, data retention, and data residency. Business case and TCO Build the business case for in‑house development vs. alternatives: track TCO, unit economics, and ROI: partner with Finance on budget, resourcing, and cost controls. Go‑to‑market and adoption Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Client Success to define value propositions and packaging for client access: enable internal stakeholder onboarding and client activation. Performance measurement and continuous improvement Define and track product KPIs (adoption, efficiency, reliability, migration progress, NPS/CSAT) and drive a continuous improvement roadmap. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Basic Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA preferred. 7+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, or enterprise SaaS/platforms, including platform or developer focused products. Deep understanding of payment processing and testing across auth, clearing, settlement, chargebacks, and related regulatory/industry standards (PCI DSS, ISO 8583, ISO 20022, EMV, tokenization, digital wallets, 3DS). Proven success building platform capabilities in‑house: defining architectures with engineering, establishing APIs/SDKs, and launching multi‑tenant services at scale. Demonstrated experience sunsetting legacy tools and migrating diverse user groups to new platforms with measurable outcomes. Strong analytical and decision‑making skills: adept at defining KPIs, instrumentation, and experimentation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non‑technical audiences. Expertise with Agile and hybrid delivery models: comfortable with complex, multi‑squad programs. Familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance controls for payments and SaaS. Highly Desirable Experience building protocol simulators, payment network emulators, or high‑fidelity test harnesses. Background in SRE/DevOps‑adjacent product areas (observability, environments, CI/CD). Experience delivering white‑label or OEM‑style client experiences, including theming and tenant governance. Knowledge of data pipelines for test artifacts, lineage, and auditability Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer. Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
