    • Strong track record of owning a product area end-to-end, from discovery through to delivery and impact.

    • Independent operator and comfortable navigating ambiguous environments to drive progress.
    • Technically fluent in order to work effectively with front end engineers and designers to shape and ship enablers that meet the needs of internal technology customers
    • Strong relationship building and influencing skills to cut through different domains and teams to achieve outcomes.
    • Experience in building and scaling reusable systems (design systems experience is a plus).
    • Prior experience working in a similar product-led, SaaS environment is desirable.

    ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM

    At Xero, the Small Business Experience team builds and maintains core functionality and guidelines in order to power a consistent user experience for millions globally. We collaborate with product teams to ensure intuitive and beautiful software, championing efficiency and scalability.
    We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to contribute to the overall product strategy and execution for Xero’s front-end experience. You’ll be comfortable working closely with your cross functional peers in design, engineering and other product teams to ensure a cohesive and effective user interface.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO



      • Lead the strategic framing of products within your overall strategy and future objectives.

      • Lead customer engagement, research, and insight collection to embed customer data in decision-making and risk assessment.
      • Identify valuable customer problems and comprehensively frame solutions for testing and refinement.
      • Lead the development of product roadmaps, release strategies, and ensure effective product launches.
      • Take responsibility for managing non-functional risks (security, privacy, compliance, etc.) and lead trade-off decisions.
      • Consistently review, monitor, and analyse commercial and customer results, leading iterative improvements to existing products.
      • Manage products across their entire lifecycle, from launch to sunset, ensuring continuity and strategic alignment.
      • Contribute to developing and implementing product practices, and train, coach, and recruit team members.
