Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a storyteller to join our team as Senior Product Marketing Manager, Market Research on a 6 month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker capable of owning complex research projects that uncover competitive insights and demonstrate Motive’s leadership in AI. This role requires a blend of project management, technical proficiency, market awareness, and sales acumen. You will own and drive research initiatives that support Motive’s GTM strategy and drive achievement of pipeline and revenue goals. You will have strong attention to detail, ability to dive deep into the complexities of Motive’s product, and be fluent in translating research findings into effective positioning and messaging. You’ll also be an excellent communicator able to build strong relationships across teams as this role requires you to work cross-functionally with product management, legal, sales enablement and other teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis into the market Motive operates in, including review into competitors’ strategies, product offerings, and positioning to inform sales and marketing efforts.
  • Design and execute structured research initiatives, including product evaluations, customer feedback analysis, and performance benchmarking.
  • Develop and maintain assets, sales playbooks, and training materials to empower the sales team with research-based materials.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to assess product strengths and weaknesses in the market, helping refine our messaging and positioning.
  • Fluently communicate research findings and translate them into actionable recommendations for internal teams, leadership, and sales.
  • Work closely with Marketing content and comms teams to craft messaging that highlights our strengths and differentiates us in the market.
