Your Mission

As a Sr. Product Owner within our Platform organization, you will be the driving force behind our data solutions, shaping their vision, strategy, and execution. You will work closely with our data modeling team and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of a product that meets both customer needs and business objectives.

• Develop and communicate a clear product vision for the Data solutions, aligned with SPREAD’s overall business objectives. You’ll ensure that this vision is well understood by all stakeholders and the development teams.
• Own the product backlog, prioritizing features that deliver the most value to customers and the business. Make data-driven decisions using customer feedback, market research, and business needs.
• Leverage your deep understanding of core data topics, to ensure that the data solutions is built on a strong foundation.
• Collaborate with development teams to define clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Provide the necessary context and details to enable efficient development and ensure alignment with the product vision.
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to release. Monitor progress, address obstacles, and ensure that the product is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
• Act as the voice of the customer in all product decisions, ensuring that the product delivers value, addresses pain points, and enhances the user experience. Engage with customers through sales and customer value teams to gather insights and refine the product.
• Lead agile practices within your team, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Foster a fail-fast mentality, encouraging experimentation and learning from mistakes to drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the engineering team and other departments, ensuring transparent communication and managing expectations.

Your Experience
1. You bring deep knowledge of core data topics, including expertise in GraphQL, graph databases (such as Neo4j or Amazon Neptune), and data ingestion pipelines. Your ability to understand and translate complex technical requirements into actionable product features will be key.
2. You have a proven track record as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally with experience in the automotive, machinery, or related industries. Your background includes managing complex products with a strong data component.
3. You are well-versed in agile development processes and have experience leading teams through sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Professional certification in agile methodologies is a plus.
4. Your decisions are data-driven, and you have a strong analytical mindset that enables you to prioritize effectively, make informed decisions, and measure the impact of product features.
5. You excel in communication, able to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your interpersonal skills enable you to build strong relationships across departments, fostering collaboration and alignment.
6. You are passionate about innovation and staying ahead of industry trends. Your ability to envision and create new solutions is complemented by a commitment to continuous improvement, both in the products you manage and in the processes you lead.
7. You possess excellent English language skills, with proficiency in German being an advantage.
