Dentsply Sirona, Waltham, MA, is looking for a senior product owner with generative AI product development experience. The candidate will join a new team that will work on cutting edge applications of machine learning (ML) and generative AI. They will drive forward the development of products and ensure that it gets into the hands of customers. This role combines technical know-how with product development skills, allowing the successful candidate to bring novel products to customers of Dentsply Sirona’s cloud based platform and help further our mission – To transform dentistry and improve oral health globally.

• This is a hybrid position which requires working in the Waltham,MA office at least one day per week.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

YEARS AND TYPE OF EXPERIENCE:

• More than 6 years of professional experience
• Experience with complex technical projects across teams
• Proficiency in machine learning concepts, programming concepts and data analysis
• Experience in medical technology development is a plus

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Investigate applying new generative AI research to areas such as image analysis, computer vision, 3D reconstruction, AI treatment planning and other topics
• Leads product strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and define product vision
• Manages and prioritizes the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals
• Collaborate closely with our AI/ ML science teams, software architects, and software development teams to bring generative AI research to production
• Defines acceptance criteria and ensures the quality of delivered solutions
• Create generative AI products that will help dentists and patients with a world wide impact
• Refine user stories and define acceptance criteria for tasks within the team
• Participate in interview processes, help the team make hiring decisions
• Support campaigns for the acquisition of training data
• Follow the current state-of-the-art technology (literature surveys, or attends conferences)
