Description

Accountabilities

  • Own the product end-to-end, taking an existing prototype through MVP definition, launch, scale, and development into a revenue-generating premium product.
  • Define the product vision and translate it into a structured roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on user needs, business impact, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality product backlog covering epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and iterative releases.
  • Design the human-in-the-loop experience, determining where AI can operate autonomously and where human review or intervention is required.
  • Establish measurable success criteria covering product quality, coverage, operational efficiency, user trust, and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Own the legal, consent, compliance, and sensitive-data considerations associated with the product, working with Legal and leadership to resolve go/no-go decisions before launch.
  • Coordinate dependencies across Product, Engineering, Data, Legal, Customer Support, Marketing, and the wider technology platform.
  • Treat the product as a live operational service, accounting for changing third-party environments and the ongoing challenges of automation-dependent systems.
  • Establish monitoring, alerting, escalation, and support processes so operational issues are identified and addressed before they affect customers.
  • Define the operating cadence, including daily health indicators, weekly reviews, escalation procedures, and criteria for launch blockers versus accepted residual risks.
  • Shape the organizational structure required to support the product, starting lean and expanding the team as the product and operational demands grow.
  • Help recruit and develop the engineering and operational capabilities required to turn the prototype into a reliable, user-facing product.
  • Provide clear specifications and direction for engineers while creating operating models that teams can execute consistently.
  • Continuously evaluate product and operational performance and use real-world feedback, experimentation, and data to drive improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Product Management, ideally within data-driven, platform, marketplace, or similarly complex environments.
  • Proven experience taking an early-stage capability or prototype through development and launch into a product that is actively used by customers at meaningful scale.
  • Experience owning a product beyond launch, including responsibility for quality, reliability, operational processes, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing quality and evaluation frameworks for AI-driven products, with the ability to define measurable standards and assess whether the product is performing against them.
  • Experience operating live customer-facing products, including ownership of monitoring, quality management, incident processes, escalation paths, or other operational workflows.
  • Proven ability to shape and build teams around a product, including defining roles, hiring or developing specialists, and determining the appropriate team structure as needs evolve.
  • Comfortable working with AI and LLM-driven products, including understanding agent behavior and balancing quality, performance, cost, and user experience without necessarily being a hands-on developer.
  • Strong analytical judgment and fluency in metrics, OKRs, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to take ownership of ambiguous and high-stakes topics involving legal considerations, compliance, sensitive data, and operational risk and drive them toward clear decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce clear specifications for engineering teams, establish practical operating processes, and align leadership around product strategy.
  • Strong ability to create structure and clarity in environments where processes, teams, and product direction are still being established.
  • Fluent English, as the primary working language.
  • Experience with compliance, consent, data protection, or other sensitive-data requirements is an advantage.
  • Experience across B2C and B2B products or marketplace environments is beneficial.
  • Strong UX instincts and experience partnering with design teams to translate user needs into clear, effective product flows are a plus.
  • Experience hiring or developing specialist engineering, operations, or support roles is advantageous.
