The Product Security Anti-Tamper Team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is growing and currently seeking a Senior Product Security Software Engineer. This position will focus on supporting the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) division business organization.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Boeing Company is seeking innovative senior engineers (level 5) to lead the software architecture and development efforts for key computing assets embedded in the most advanced Boeing defense platforms.
Successful candidates for this role will lead the development and maintenance of hardware and software based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 14+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, C#, Python and/or Java
  • 5+ years of experience of technical leadership
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Agile tools (Jira)
  • Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability.
  • Experience with collaboration across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years of experience with the multiple phases of the anti-tamper lifecycle Configuration management (CM) tools experience (GitLab)
  • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
  • Experience with cryptography and other security protocols
  • Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti-tamper

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years’ related work experience, Master+12 years’ related

Summary pay range for level V: $125,000 – $161,000

Responsibilities
  • Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
  • Lead the development of secure software methodologies to generate detailed, repeatable, automated test points, plans and procedures.
  • Support and be accountable to program engineering leads and management in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
  • Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.
    This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and aligns to the site standard 9/80 work schedule. The 9/80 schedule allows employees to work a nine-hour shift Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off.
    This position requires that you work on-site out of Oklahoma City, OK and a willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as required.
    This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance Pre-Start for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Must be eligible and willing to obtain additional security clearances.
