JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Production Coordinator to join our client team and support the successful delivery of roofing projects. This role is pivotal in maintaining production schedules, coordinating resources, managing inventory, and facilitating cross-departmental communication. The ideal candidate will play a key part in streamlining operations, supporting project managers, and helping drive project efficiency from start to finish.

REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS

  • Foundational knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination involving resource planning, procurement, logistics, and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with OHSA standards and industry-specific safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficiency and process improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with production managers to coordinate all phases of roofing projects—from planning to completion—ensuring timelines and project goals are met.
  • Oversee the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure projects are properly staffed and equipped.
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying key milestones and dependencies to support timely project delivery.
  • Keep accurate records of all project activities and documentation.
  • Prepare progress reports, budget tracking, and resource utilization summaries for management review.
  • Assist in compiling documentation for project initiation and closeout, including warranties, as-built drawings, and final inspections.
  • Monitor and track project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and identifying opportunities for cost-saving and process improvements.
  • Serve as a key liaison between production managers, field crews, and subcontractors.
  • Lead or support regular status meetings to discuss project progress, resolve issues, and align team goals.
  • Address inquiries related to scheduling and logistics from internal departments.
  • Support the implementation of quality control and safety protocols in compliance with company standards and OHSA requirements.
  • Aid in managing vendor relationships, including timely procurement and resolving supply issues.
