You will provide advanced technical expertise to optimise hydrocarbon production, maximise asset performance, improve energy efficiency, and ensure safe and reliable operations across production facilities and wells. You will be responsible for production surveillance, performance analysis, troubleshooting, production optimisation, and supporting strategic initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and sustainability. Main responsibilities: * Lead production optimisation initiatives to maximise oil, gas, and water handling performance while ensuring operational integrity. * Monitor and analyse well and field performance through production surveillance activities, and recommend improvement actions. * Conduct production system analysis and identify bottlenecks affecting production efficiency. * Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production losses, equipment failures, and process upsets. * Develop and implement production enhancement programmes, including well interventions and production improvement opportunities. * Evaluate and optimise artificial lift systems and flow assurance strategies where applicable. * Support production forecasting, field development planning, and reservoir management activities. * Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Reservoir Engineering, and HSE teams to improve asset performance and reliability. * Identify and implement energy efficiency and emissions reduction initiatives aligned with company sustainability objectives. * Support digital transformation projects through the utilisation of production data analytics, predictive monitoring, and performance dashboards. * Provide technical input during facility modifications, start-up, shutdown, commissioning, and decommissioning activities. * Participate in budget preparation and cost optimisation initiatives related to production engineering activities. * Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice. * Prepare technical reports, production performance reviews, KPI analyses, and management presentations. * Mentor junior production engineers and contribute to technical capability development within the team. Skills and experience required: Qualifications & Experience: * Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Petroleum Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. * Extensive experience in Production Engineering within the oil & gas industry. * Strong experience in production optimisation, well performance analysis, production surveillance, and hydrocarbon processing facilities. * Knowledge of production system modelling and engineering software. * Experience in mature field optimisation and production enhancement programmes. * Understanding of energy management and emissions reduction initiatives. * Fluency in English is required; French is an advantage.
