We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our engineering team as a Senior Production Engineer to work on the world’s first and only nanopore DNA sequencer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about new technology.
THE DETAILS…
Reporting to the Associate Director of Production Engineering, you’ll work with executive management and contract manufacturers teams to define and develop the assembly and overall Production process. This will involve taking a lead role in product and process validation and participation in the design and implementation of assembly fixtures. You’ll facilitate the development of internal and external production processes and establish and maintain production processes and quality for new products as well as improvements to existing ones. You’ll always be looking for ways to develop and implement measures that improve product quality and drive cost savings.
Other duties include:
Create and maintain controlled documentation such as; process flows, process and tool drawings, component specifications, process routers, bills of materials, work and inspection instructionsOptimise the manufacturing processes - improving efficiencies, reducing wastage, enhancing yield and reducing cost
