Description
Responsible for the efficient management of production resources, equipment, personnel and materials. Ensure safety measures are procedures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents and hazards. Developing/maintaining a viable plan incorporating hiring, training, capacity-modeling, efficiency/yield assumptions, ramp-rate, learning-curve etc. Ensure production process is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. Liaising with ware-housing, quality assurance, and Logistics teams to ensure prompt shipment of product. Maintaining GMP / FDA regulator requirement, Housekeeping, Health and Safety at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members. Cross-functional management of QA, materials, IS and HR support for the team. Lead and motivate Core Team in delivering exceptional work. Lead Core Team in investigating problems, analyze root causes, and define solutions. Floor space management, and working with the Industrial Engineering group to optimise the utilisation of space designated for specific operations area. Liaise with Trainers to analyse training requirement for Line flexibility & agility. Works with EHS to establish targets and identify significant environmental impacts of BS Penang operations. Leading Core Team members in strategy-planning to improve Safety, Quality, Service, Costs (Efficiency & Yield), Equipment up-time and Employees' tardiness. Recommend process improvement to enhance production Safety, Quality, Service, Costs (Efficiency & Yield), Equipment up-time and Employees' tardiness. Recommend changes in workflow, operations & equipment to maximize production efficiency. Candidate required to process at least bachelor degree in any related field. At least 8-year experience in manufacturing environment in related field. Plan, organize and follow up subordinates & core Team in their daily tasks diligently. Ensure all manufacturing operations are followed as required (by specifications), oversee & coaching operators & manage projects. Skills: Supervisory, people management, communication, cross-functional management, capacity planning, problem solving, operations management, computer proficiency. Candidate from medical company will have value added.
