Your Scope
Job Summary
§ To support the Shift Manager with the day to day running of all the Production Lines and Processes.
§ To maintain line efficiency and reduce wastage were possible.
§ Operators will undertake all aspects of training to include paperwork completion and quality checks as required by QC, and to ensure that all training is documented before operating any process equipment.
§ Adhere to all Health, Safety and Welfare procedures throughout the site.
§ Operators must at all times maintain the required level of Cleaning and Hygiene as instructed by the Quality Department and actively participate in the GMP program.
§ To train and monitor all Agency Staff allocated to the production areas.
Teamwork
§ Can do attitude – leads by example and takes a hands-on approach.
§ Work closely with teams and departments to maximise efficiency.
§ Strive with other teams to continuously improve processes and reduce waste.
§ Work closely with the Shift Manager and Engineering to reduce downtime.
§ Be able to step up for Shift Manager’s role during a holiday/absence period.
Communication
§ Good communication skill at all levels both verbal and written, to include agency staff and tempory workers.
Customer Care
§ To ensure that all products produced are made to the correct specification using the correct raw materials (Right First Time).
§ Maintaining the Quality of the product to the required standard.
§ Eliminating costly waste and mistakes by adhering to procedures and paperwork.
Innovation
§ Assess all areas of the day to day running with a view of continuous improvement in performance of production, efficiency and Health and Safety.
Responsibilities and Expertise
§ Be fully aware of all company rules and regulations.
§ Understand and be aware of the different nationalities and ideals of the people around you (treat people with respect and compassion when needed)
§ Strive to improve your performance by learning i.e. courses and using Percipio
Good working knowledge of the routine machine operations of the line equipment.
Compliance
§ Constant attention to safe working practices, your own as well as that of other team members and agency staff
§ Personally adhere to all prescribed working practises to ensure that the factory operates to the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency at all times.
§ Personally comply with all policies, procedures and risk assessments relevant to role and responsibilities.
§ Implement effective corrective actions to address any shortcomings in the performance of all staff in a timely manner.
