Salary will be £13.80ph Shift pattern will be either Monday - Friday and a Saturday morning shift once a month, 11:00-12:00, paid at time and a half. Operating hours are between 06:00 and 16:30 The role We are looking for an Senior Production Operative to help us sustain and grow an operation of excellence. You will support the other Production Supervisors in helping to manage a small team of operatives to deliver department performance productivity, packing quality & accuracy and on time delivery. As a senior op, your main responsibilities will include: Leading by example and showing the speed and quality we expect from all operatives Be well-rounded in all areas of the operation in case you need to be moved to help cover Bringing any issues to the attention of Production Supervisor or Production Manager The ability to problem solve if the Supervisor or Manager is not around Understand how to close and open the building if needed Strong people skills, ability to motivate and complete the task in hand with your team Support the completion of deadlines Work to deadlines, enthusiastic and used to a fast paced environment Previous warehouse or production experience is desirable, but not essential Ability to use a computer to complete tasks Strong sense of team working and commitment to our company values A positive, get up and go attitude at all times 28 days holiday, prorated for part time Support to learn, develop and progress within Pact Monthly coffee allowance Pension Health and wellbeing programme with Juno Tea, fresh coffee (obviously) and unlimited snacks Pact Coffee is an equal opportunities employer and we are committed to improving the diversity of our workforce.
