THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for an Intermediate Hydrogeologist with a specialization in groundwater modelling to join our Ontario Hydrogeology Team, located in one of our GTA (Toronto/Mississauga/Kitchener/Barrie) or Ottawa, ON offices. You will provide numerical modelling support for various hydrogeological, environmental, and engineering investigations related to multi-disciplinary development projects.

Responsibilities
  • You’ll work with interdisciplinary project teams that offer highly complex work, a chance to challenge yourself and what you’ve learned so far and an opportunity to push your skills to the next level with some of the best in the industry
  • Support the development and implementation of numerical groundwater flow models for a wide range of projects including:
  • Large scale open pit and underground mining operations
  • Regional and local scale hydrogeological assessments
  • Municipal source water protection studies
  • Dewatering assessments for infrastructure projects
  • Compile field and/or other data for interpretation and analysis
  • You’ll work with intermediate and senior hydrogeologists to provide technical services related to both mining and infrastructure related projects.
  • Provide technical support and complete hydrogeological analysis, visualizations, and aid in the development of conceptual site models.
  • Work both independently and in a group setting under the direction of senior specialists in related disciplines.
  • Preparing technical documents and reports
  • Assist more senior staff with the development and preparation of project proposals.
