Duties The Senior Program Developer, Wilder Research works closely with the Program Development Team, Advancement Office, and Wilder Research leadership/project leads to provide strategic leadership to the Wilder Research division. Specifically, this position will develop and implement a full-scale development effort to support select Wilder Research projects and initiatives, including the Minnesota Compass project and the Minnesota Homeless study.  This role is fundamental to achieving our mission to champion stability and wellness through direct services, advocacy, and research by sustaining and increasing research revenue for key projects. In particular, the Senior Program Developer manages, sustains, and grows a funding portfolio of no less than $1,250,000 on an annual basis to support an identified portfolio of Wilder Research projects. This is achieved through identifying, building, and sustaining relationships with government agencies, foundations, and corporations to bring in revenue through grants and other means. The Senior Program Director reports to the Director of Program Development and is part of the Advancement Team, which also includes individual giving, communications, and volunteer engagement.  To apply for this position, you must submit a cover letter, resume, and professional writing sample (successful grant proposal preferred).  Job Qualifications Must reside in the Twin Cities metropolitan region and be permanently authorized to work in the United States. A bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Nonprofit Administration (MNA) preferred. Candidates should have: 1) a minimum of five years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of revenue growth, as well as knowledge of philanthropic, government, and corporate funding systems; 2) minimum of five years of experience working with a revenue portfolio of at least $1,250,000 annually; 3) minimum three years of experience in social science research methodologies; 4) minimum of five years of experience identifying, building, and engaging strategic partnerships with nonprofit and/or for-profit entities to support programs; and 5) minimum of five years of experience with project management, preferably with research grants, with demonstratable skills in planning and monitoring work plans, budgets, timelines, and contracts. Ideal candidate will also be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and related office software, have demonstrated success in working independently and as part of a team; and be able to interact effectively and develop relationships with diverse colleagues and stakeholders.
