BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline with 8+ years related experience or 6+ years with MS degree.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts.
  • Has the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments within the programs and portfolios supporting.
  • Analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as being able to operate independently.
  • Commercial experience and experience with revenue recognition a must.
  • Possess a secret clearance or have the ability to obtain a secret clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications; such as: Cost Point, Insight, OAC, Cognos and Fusion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications; such as: Project, Excel, Power Point and Word.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage your prior experience in finance and accounting to analyze financial statements for monthly/quarterly/annual financial Outlooks, support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and complete Estimates at Complete (EAC)
  • Develop and drive financial forecasts, EACs; Manage subcontractors and analyze the programs revenue and costs.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate invoices.
  • Support month-end closings and variance/trend analysis
  • Responsible for cash management to include timely submittal of invoices, collections and unbilled reduction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, highlighting any trends and investigating causes of unexpected variances to forecast. Help improve financial status for the division by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management.
