About the Senior Program Manager/Account Director Role
The Sr. Program Manager/Account Director is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and project management of client deliverables.
Client Services Responsibilities
- Prepare for and participate in calls and meetings with the clients
- Prepare status reports, meeting agendas, notes and conference reports
- Act as liaison between client, outside partners/vendors and internal teams
- Support all administrative aspects of client account management
- Maintain communications with appropriate agency and client personnel to ensure that assigned work is handled in a positive, timely and efficient manner
- Define engagements, work with clients to develop strategies that deliver on objectives, build teams, allocate work within their teams and have ultimate responsibility for the deliverables and outcomes.
- Drive business development within existing client relationships and support new business initiatives as assigned
- Lead briefings and brainstorming sessions when appropriate
- Lead strategy partners and account teams through the development of strategies and plans for retainer based and project work, providing structure and clear opportunities for contribution
- Develop thoughtful and actionable briefs that are clear, succinct and strategically relevant
- Present work confidently, articulately and persuasively
- Anticipate and troubleshoot client issues
- Manage to profitability metrics and oversee disciplined financial and resource management on the team
- Partner with creative leaders to fulfill the strategic objectives each engagement and account initiative
- Prepare thoughtful, clear, articulate direction, combined with relevant context for creative team members whose work you oversee or are in a position to influence
Project Management
- Manage client projects and day-to-day account work, including project planning and scheduling, team resourcing, creative deliverables, client reporting, etc.
- Steer projects from briefing through production efficiently and accurately, with proficiency in juggling and prioritizing amongst assignments
- Draft creative briefs, scopes of work and client-facing emails.
- Prepare and communicate detailed project plans inclusive of project milestones, workstreams & activities and manage delivery of the project according to this plan
- Help to synthesize client feedback with a focus on defining the problems that need to be solved
- Manage finalization of projects by coordinating with vendors and partners to confirm specifications, proofread final files, release assets for production and traffic media to vendor or media agency
- Demonstrate and apply intimate knowledge of clients’ business and products to day-to- day work
- Possess deep knowledge of risk management and mitigation
- Communicate new project requests, timeline shifts and financial tracking to the cross functional senior team
- Monitor and manage multiple project workflows
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail
About you
- You have 8+ years’ experience with marketing, digital strategy or creative development at an agency.
- A strong leader and clear thinker who is able to express ideas and clarify questions. You will be close to the client’s business, maintain knowledge of relevant issues, define the role of strategies and communications in driving business performance.
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, strong active listening skills, and the ability to synthesize in real time.
- Healthcare category experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication

Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Material. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
