Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support the Program Integration Office (PIO) in El Segundo, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Technical project/program management experience
  • Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders (i.e. business partner, customer, Finance, suppliers) in planning and executing projects
  • Experience building stakeholder and customer relationships
  • Experience with financial reporting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 10+ years of experience working with government customers
  • Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
  • Strong experience in managing relationships with business leaders, leading complex portfolio of engagements, enabling leaders to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience building positive relationships, collaborating effectively, and communicating clearly
  • Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required

Responsibilities
  • Manages Integrated Product Team (IPT) members to deliver flight hardware
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
