SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER-HEALTHCARE:

On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Senior Program Manager-Healthcare for a 6 months contract role. This position is a hybrid position with up to 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER-HEALTHCARE - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Program Manager-Healthcare will be involved in managing critical projects within emergency services, focusing on integrating Emergency Management Services data with the Provincial Electronic Health Record. The role includes developing a detailed schedule and costing plan, as well as overseeing organizational change management and strategic development with EMS & CACC Discovery.

SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER-HEALTHCARE - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 10+ years experience with project management concepts
  • 10+ years experience with workflows and business processes in emergency services
  • 10+ years experience in forecasting, monitoring, and reporting budgets
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience managing electronic health-related projects
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems and data workflows
  • Experience with health system business requirements definition and implementation

SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER-HEALTHCARE – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Public Sector Experience
  • Professional certifications like Project Management Professional
  • Experience with health system business implementation and deployment projects
  • Knowledge of pharmacy and/or immunization workflows
  • Experience operating in highly political environments and across various organizational cultures
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the Integrated Project Plan for project workstreams
  • Forecast, monitor, and report dedicated budgets for approved projects
  • Engage with vendors and stakeholders to manage expectations
  • Facilitate execution of all applicable contractual agreements
  • Gather and develop requirements for a detailed project schedule
  • Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Work with various Ontario Health teams to refine business requirements
  • Ensure pre-go-live readiness and facilitate training for end-users
