What's the role? This is a permanent opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to lead the end-to-end program delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives for The Australian and Prestige. Based in our Surry Hills office with flexible working arrangements, you will shape the digital customer experience, accelerate audience growth, and optimise commercial outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Program Management, you will unite cross-functional teams around clear objectives, delivering measurable results through disciplined governance, data-led decision-making, and high-quality execution. What You’ll Do Understand the Australian & Prestige audience growth strategy and lead the delivery of aligned strategic initiatives. Own end-to-end program delivery across digital experience, consumer growth, and commercial priorities, with clear governance, success metrics, and integrated delivery plans. Lead cross-functional teams across product, data, marketing, editorial, and commercial functions to deliver outcomes on time and within budget. Embed a customer-centric, data-led approach using insights, experimentation, and measurement frameworks to drive ROI and continuous improvement. Drive change management and adoption through stakeholder engagement, communications, training, operational readiness, and rollout plans that sustain outcomes. Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and assumptions; maintain RAID logs, ensure compliance with Australian privacy, spam, and consumer laws, and uphold brand safety. Support go-to-market readiness and execution as required. Who are you? 10+ years’ experience leading complex digital product and marketing programs, delivering consumer growth and commercial outcomes. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in fast-paced, complex environments. Strong expertise in program governance, benefits realisation, and hybrid delivery (Agile/Waterfall). Advanced data literacy, with experience in analytics, experimentation, attribution, and ROI measurement. Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and vendors, with strong executive stakeholder management. Solid financial acumen, including budget ownership and commercial negotiation. Working knowledge of martech, CRM/CDP, product analytics, and Australian regulatory requirements. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Technology or related discipline are desirable. An established program manager with strong influencing skills.
