Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with internal program offices and segments to gather requirements and manage future year planning (1–5 years).
  • Serve as task order manager for large cross-functional teams, ensuring performance and communication across supported offices.
  • Act as primary point of contact for risk management—track program risks, issues, and opportunities and facilitate the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Support acquisition lifecycle activities including planning, prioritization, and documentation of requirements.
  • Lead and facilitate technical planning sessions, working group meetings, and sprint or increment planning events in Agile environments.
  • Evaluate competing vendor proposals, align capabilities to resource constraints, and support tool development and implementation.
  • Coordinate defect and service ticket tracking, user feedback sessions, and tool adoption efforts.
  • Produce and deliver regular reports, activity summaries, and program inputs to support performance reviews and strategic planning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in program management, acquisition, and/or systems engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale budgets and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with experience in briefing stakeholders and coordinating diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to manage risk, identify issues, and lead mitigation planning efforts.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified SAFe Agilist (or similar Agile certification).
  • Prior experience leading sprint planning and program increment events.
  • Military background or prior leadership in mission-critical operations.
  • Proficiency with collaborative tools such as SharePoint, data trackers, and Agile project management platforms.
