POSITION OVERVIEW – WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to the Program Director you will have an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, big-thinking, mission-driven organization. This unique role directly supports and influences the work of one of the nation’s leading health philanthropies.
You will have the opportunity to lead projects, manage key Foundation initiatives, and facilitate the completion of projects with high importance and visibility. Specifically, you will be leading and supporting the Foundation’s programs and initiatives to improve health communications, messaging, and training for public health communicators and other high-impact and high-visibility projects. Your responsibilities will vary and require you to prioritize effectively, act quickly, maintain confidentiality, and bring others along. This position will have a significant influence on the Foundation’s commitment to strengthening the public health communications workforce through training, capacity, and skill development and building partnerships that enhance the sustainability and effectiveness of public health to work and communicate across sectors.
