SENIOR PROGRAM OFFICER, COMPLIANCE

  • Location: Located in Eveleigh with flexible working arrangements available
  • Competitive salary ranges from $125,693 - $138,510 p.a. plus super and annual leave loading

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a highly motivated, solutions-focused team member who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will have:

  • Experience delivering programs or projects across asset management, compliance or facilities management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work confidently across diverse internal teams, schools, contractors and consultants.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a focus on program delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, able to prepare clear advice, updates and recommendations for decision makers.

You will also have knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Program Officer, Compliance plays a key role in delivering essential compliance programs that help ensure the safety and functionality of our public schools across NSW.
This role provides expert advice and support to manage a variety of compliance and asset-related programs on school sites, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including schools, contractors, consultants, and program partners. You will help manage planning, development and delivery of compliance works across our vast school network, ensuring programs are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with legislative, policy and departmental frameworks.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent workplace experience in engineering, facilities management, building services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
