  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $129,464 - $142,665 + superannuation.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Current unrestricted NSW drivers’ licence.
  • An ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances.

    About the Agency
    The NSW Reconstruction Authority (the RA) is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
    To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities

As a Senior Program Officer with the NSW Reconstruction Authority, you will manage and coordinate the development and delivery of complex program initiatives that support state-wide planning, preparedness, response, and recovery. Your work will directly contribute to building safer, more resilient communities across NSW.
You will lead research, provide expert advice, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure programs are evidence-based, strategically aligned, and effectively implemented. From preparing high-level reports to driving project milestones, your role will be central to shaping disaster management outcomes.
