At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.
We are seeking an onsite Senior Program Quality Engineer (PQE) to serve within the Advanced Technology Team. You’ll develop and monitor quality metrics to drive proactive continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with integrated teams to further the success of the program. In the program quality role, you will support development, production and hardware sell-off. You will primarily engage our labs, factories and suppliers that aid the Advanced Technology portfolio, implement quality processes to meet program milestones. You will be directly involved with design verification tests, qualification efforts, demonstration tests, flight test events, and engage with Raytheon Suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have a dynamic mindset and the ability to influence peers and offer creative results to complex problems that arise during development. The candidate will collaborate closely with all cross-functional teams including systems, electrical, mechanical, operations, supply chain, and systems integration and test to guarantee that mission goals and contractual requirements have been met.
This program will face challenges consistent with new product development requiring the candidate to continuously practice leadership, organizational skills, and assess risks and opportunities, and ensure challenges are efficiently managed. The programs which the candidate will support, have a very dynamic accelerated schedule and a strong customer engagement requisition, which will require moderate travel to support various program activities.
