Senior Program Security Officer The Senior Program Security Officer (Sr. PSO) serves as the principal security authority for government programs, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Government security regulations, contract requirements, and agency-specific directives. This role provides strategic and operational security oversight for classified and sensitive programs, acting as the primary interface between program leadership, government security representatives, and corporate security functions. The Sr. PSO is responsible for safeguarding classified information, personnel, facilities, and systems while enabling mission execution across complex, high-visibility government programs. The Sr. PSO will be integral in establishing new secure facilities. Responsibilities: * Serve as the lead security advisor for assigned government programs, providing authoritative guidance on security compliance, risk mitigation, and operational security. * Interpret, implement, and enforce government security policies and regulations, including: NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), ICDs / ICS (as applicable) and DoD, IC, or civilian agency security directives  * Act as the primary point of contact with Government Security Representatives (GSRs), Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and customer security offices. * Develop, maintain, and execute Program Protection Plans (PPPs), Security Classification Guides (SCGs), and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) from a security perspective. * Partner with facilities, IT, construction, and program leadership to ensure security requirements are integrated into building design and construction. Establish and accredit SCIFs, closed areas, secure rooms, and classified storage areas, as required. Preferred Education / Experience: * Associates degree or higher * 10+ years of experience as a security professional * A combination of education and experience equivalent to above * Demonstrated experience standing up security for a new facility, SCIF, or classified space. * Deep working knowledge of: * NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) * Facility accreditation and inspection processes * Experience coordinating directly with DCSA, GSRs, and customer security offices. * Active U.S. Government security clearance at the required level. * Strong documentation, briefing, and stakeholder coordination skills. Preferred Knowledge / Ability: * Outstanding customer service and time management skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Motivated self- starter with the ability to work well in a team setting * Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Ability to quickly adapt and change priorities while professionally managing interruptions * Must be able to obtain and maintain government security clearance * Strong attention to detail  * Experience leading security for multi-program or multi-tenant government facilities. * Prior involvement in construction-phase security planning and facility accreditation. * Experience supporting SCI, SAP, and other special access programs. * Professional certifications (CPP, PSP, CISSP, etc.). * Experience supporting classified program start-ups or contract transitions. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
