This is a full time role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with technical teams, and is passionate about safe and reliable infrastructure.   A Day in the Life as a Senior Program Specialist at Transgrid   As a Program Specialist within our Technical Team, you will be responsible for coordinating the planning and execution of maintenance and small capital works across substations, transmission lines, cables, easements, and digital infrastructure.   This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams such as engineers, planners, asset managers, and field crews to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. You’ll liaise regularly with landowners, contractors, customers, and regulatory stakeholders, while contributing to compliance reporting, incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.   Your work will help ensure our network remains robust, responsive, and aligned with safety and regulatory standards.   About You   Background in maintenance or project delivery in utilities, energy, infrastructure, or telecommunications. Experience with systems such as CAMMS, Ellipse, AIM, or similar. Strong problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of WHS legislation and a commitment to a safety-first culture. Relevant trade, diploma, or degree qualification.
