Description

JOIN US AND MAKE AN IMPACT ON OUR JOURNEY OF TRANSFORMATION!

The University of Law has undergone incredible growth and diversification over the last 5 years. To meet our ambitious strategic aims, ULaw is undergoing a major transformation programme and will be the first university in the UK going live with Ellucian’s Banner SaaS product. We’ve made great strides on our journey and we’re now looking to recruit a Senior Programme Director who will oversee the final stages of delivery and launch.
This role sits within the CORDS Transformation Programme and will oversee the project implementing the new student information system and associated integrations.
Working remotely (from a UK location) on a fixed term contract until Spring 2026.
As a Senior Programme Director, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our Banner Student Information System and our CourseLoop Curriculum Management System. You will be planning and monitoring milestones, resource allocation and managing effective relationships with colleagues and external partners/suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring the project, timelines, budgets, and resource plans to meet the Banner/CourseLoop system implementation timelines.
  • Identifying and managing internal and external stakeholders, including IT suppliers, partners, and users - communicating project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactively manage issues and change requests to prevent scope creep and delays.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies of system implementation
  • Leading a cross-functional project team, including project managers, business analysts, testers, trainers and IT technical specialists.
  • Overseeing delivery of milestones, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outputs.
  • Tracking KPIs and reporting on outcomes post-implementation and conducting post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.
