DESCRIPTION
G&T are currently looking for a Programme Manager to join an established team deployed on a fibre project for a utility client.
As Programme Manager you will play a senior role within a fast-paced Construction Management Office to achieve the clients capital build plans and ambitions, leading the multi dwelling unit (MDU) enablement programme for pre-fibre installation.
Working in an integrated manner with other departments including Field, Planning, Commercial, you will play a key leadership role to ensure delivery of an important capital programme for the client. You will ensure robust monitoring of performance to be assessed and prioritisation and criticality of activities to the programme team on a regular basis to maintain pace of delivery. Your responsibilities will include monitoring schedule, cost, risk and performance data and aligning to the contract routes and mechanisms put in place by the Commercial team. You will provide early insight of any potential deviation from the programme plan and propose remedial actions (such as advancement or deferment of activities) in order that threats can be avoided and opportunities can be exploited. This role is based out of client offices in London and will require a minimum of 3 days on site.
