Job Summary Responsible for the design, development, and support of projects that require up to 1040 hours of effort. Additionally, provides project management or Business Analyst role for projects with guidance from consultant team members and manager. Essential Functions Demonstrates a high level of working knowledge with IS methodologies and processes (i.e. Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process). Participates and contributes to the design of application architecture to support the current and future Information Systems strategy. Analyzes and supports the project team with business requirements, all feasible technical and system processes, and commercial alternatives to meet the business needs. Collects, documents, analyzes, verifies, communicates, and tests system solutions. Supports and advises other Development team members with these same tasks. Approximately 50%25 of the time is spent performing Project Management responsibilities or serving in a technical leadership role. The remaining time should be spent analyzing, designing, developing, and supporting application solutions. Facilitates and participates in technical requirements and design sessions. Provides guidance to other team members in order to strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish a task. Continually enhances knowledge and awareness of Industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen the project and/or technical team and organizational knowledge. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong knowledge of business area being supported. Experience managing Medium complex projects. Healthcare experience preferred. High level of technical knowledge of business applications, advanced technology, development, testing methodologies, programming languages, databases, and operating systems related to the area being supported. Self-directed and motivated. Approximate percent of time required to travel: 10 Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Licenses/Certifications Business Analyst, Project Management Professional, and/or related current technical certifications preferred. Experience Minimum of 5+ years progressive experience in the Information Technology environment, preferably in the Healthcare industry.
