We are seeking a Senior Project Accountant.
The Senior Project Accountant will oversee the financial operations for the project. They will provide support to the Project Manager and the Construction Manager by supervising financial activities, providing analysis and creating improvements in controlling procedures.

Key responsibilities for the role will include:

• Carry out collection, processing and reporting of accounts payable and financial data.
• Maintain the integrity of accounting information within the Project
• Preparation of monthly financial accounts
• General ledger, bank and intercompany transaction reconciliations
• BAS reporting
• Accounts receivable/payable
• Enhancement and maintenance of financial systems and procedures documentation
• Assist with fixed asset management
• Assist in job costing analysis

The successful candidate will have:

• A recognised bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce or equivalent
• At least five years of relevant work experience
• Experience working on large scale construction or similar projects
• White Card
• Knowledge of SAP
• Proficient in MS Office
• Banking System knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
