ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and deliver internal and external estimates using appropriate cost estimating techniques
• Ensure correct application of pricing terms and conditions (e.g. indexation, forex, profit)
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure estimates are accurate, relevant, and well-documented
• Lead the estimating aspect of bids and ensure adherence to governance and process
• Support negotiations and queries from the Commonwealth
• Drive continuous improvement in estimating capability and tools
• Manage and develop a team of estimators, setting clear expectations and supporting growth
• Contribute to organisational change and culture initiatives
  Please note: Availability for collaboration calls outside normal working hours (UK timezone) is required. Periodic domestic and international travel may also be required on an ad hoc basis.
