Senior Project Accountant

As the Senior Project Accountant with this Kitchener-based real estate company, you would be responsible for overseeing time-sensitive payables, job costing, budgeting, and more, while reporting directly into the Senior VP Finance.

• Oversee various transactions for projects like time sensitive payables, and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, track actuals vs. forecasted, and manage all project-based accounting
• Develop, implement, and lead process improvements where necessary
• Support the finance team as needed
• Strong prior experience in a similar role
• Experience in the real estate or construction industry would be ideal, but not required
• CPA would be considered an asset, but not a requirement
